Web Developer

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Web Developer to make weekly updates to our site. This is a part-time job from 10-15 hours a week.
We are seeking a fully qualified candidate who can easily step into the maintenance and development of a website, perform updates, and help maintain new products as our business evolves.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scan the Website weekly and monitor for new content and accuracy, uploading and removing content items as needed.
• Use various software packages create & update online content.
• Publish new materials and content (reports, briefs, press releases) as needed.
• Complete miscellaneous development projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Five (5) to Seven (7) years proven application development experience

Ability to:

• Multitask, work well under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Work efficiently in a multi-user development environment.
• Contribute to the overall team effort.

Knowledge and Skills:

• HTML, XML, PHP, MS SQL, CSS, and Javascript for front-end web design.
• Dreamweaver required.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional,  Photoshop, and Flash.
• Knowledge and use of bug control systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Sound problem solving, technical troubleshooting, negotiating, and decision-making skills are crucial
